祂的工作不曾停止
今天分享心得的經文是在出埃及記 2:16-25
摩西逃離朝夕相處的埃及皇室家人，離開血脈相親的以色列人，隻身到了曠野米甸。有一天，他在井水旁邊，看見米甸祭司的七個女兒來打水，給她們父親的羊群飲水，卻有其他的牧羊人來搶奪水源，摩西就起來幫助她們，又幫她們給羊群飲水。這七個女兒返家之後，她們的父親驚訝，今天怎麼這麼快回來？她們說，有個埃及人搭救了她們，又幫助她們打水，她們的父親聽了，趕緊讓她們把這人找來，款待他。摩西接受他的招呼，願意住下來，他還把自己的女兒給摩西為妻。
摩西決定放下皇室的好處，認同他的以色列血統，當時四十歲(使徒行傳 7:23)。逃到曠野之後，在曠野生活，成家娶妻，生育下一代，這回又過了四十年(出埃及記 7:7)。表面上看起來，在曠野的四十年，上帝似乎對摩西不理睬，但實際上，上帝的工作不只預備摩西，還預備環境，預備埃及人和以色列人，預計在適當的時間，帶他們離開奴役之地。
經文說：過了多年，埃及王死了。以色列人因做苦工，就嘆息哀求，他們的哀聲達於上帝。上帝聽見他們的哀聲，就記念祂與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的約。上帝看顧以色列人，也知道他們的苦情。(出埃及記 2:23-25)以色列人受苦待和逼迫，已長達數十年，摩西離開埃及，在曠野也有四十年的時間，他們都還記得上帝嗎？都還記得他們是上帝的子民嗎？無論這個問題的答案是肯定的，或是否定的，上帝仍然記得他們，聽見他們做苦工發出的嘆息，也知道他們的苦情，更記得與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的約。上帝絕對沒有漠視不管。
我們是否也曾經「理所當然」的忘記上帝呢？為了別人的益處，犧牲自己的好處，卻得到相當失望的結果，自然而然的下了一個結論：「祂根本不理不睬」。無論我們的感受如何，上帝總記得祂所愛的每一個孩子。
在我們感受不到祂的時候，並不表示祂停止了工作，或是忘卻了我們，很可能祂正透過我們所經歷的事，練就我們的信心和成熟度，祂願意給我們從失敗中學習的機會，祂並不因為我們不完美就拒絕我們，祂不會對我們失望，祂希望我們不要否定自己，我們不足的，祂要來賜予。我們在任何一個當下的決定或行為，都可以選擇學習更像祂，以接受祂的培育和養成，使我們在遭遇拒絕和否定的時候，能夠做出適當的舉動來回應，練就我們能隨時為祂使用，為祂以適當的方法，做榮神益人的事。
